How to maintain your health?

Everyday we are bombarded with ways and advice about how to live an active and healthy life. A lot of us do nothing due to feeling overwhelmed and unable to make any changes! Here are 10 easy and some not quite conventional tips to improve your health and well being.

1. Preparation:Preparation might not seem like a traditional health tip, but it really is the foundation on which to build good habits, which then determine your results. Start with a notebook and begin “predicting your next steps” by making a plan of action that covers all aspects L-Glutathione 1000 mg  that you live in. Take note of the areas where your life aren’t functioning and write down the effective strategies to bring you closer to your objectives.

This article is about making sure you know precisely what you need to do to achieve what you desires.

2. Accountability

If we are beginning a new habit or routine, it can take a push to get started. I am not a fan of using the words willpower and motivation since they’re such volatile emotions that change on a day to day basis. We don’t need willpower for brushing our teeth every morning, nor do we have motivation to do healthy things!

It’s essential to identify your goals first with some action steps before you begin. I recommended seeking a professional to help you formulate a plan of action and hold you accountable. This really helps, especially until habit takes over.

3. Avoid “Diets”

Who hasn’t heard of the diet of cabbage soup or their own attempt at a bizarre diet that cut out 90% of your regular food items! A diet or food regimen that drastically differs from the normal diet will only create a recipe for failure. Sure, in the short-term you could lose a few pounds. However, I’m sure that a few weeks after stopping your “diet” you gain back all, if not more weight than before. The truth is “diets” are not enjoyable or easy to follow, which is why they are not sustainable. We really do know what “good” food items are, but because of inexperience and lack of knowledge on how to prepare some foods, we take shortcuts. Start by introducing more “good” foods into your diet.

4. Eat right

In conjunction with tip 3, it is essential to provide your body with proper nutrients. Try to eat a large healthy breakfast with protein, a small serve of carbohydrates , and some fat. Example; 2 eggs, toast, wholegrain and 2 small scoops avocado. This breakfast can keep you going through the day. Eat 3-4 times a day or according to your body’s needs. Some people favor high protein diets because it helps make people feel more energetic. others prefer lighter meals. Consult a professional for extra help.

5. Cardio Exercise

The best way to stay healthy can be completed without exercising! Exercise is so important to live a life full of energy, living longer and becoming healthier. It has an impact on all aspects of your life, such as your levels of stress, sleep patterns and digestion. Experiment with various forms of exercise to find what works best for you. You should aim to do some form of cardio daily or resistance training, as well as flexibility exercises a few times every the week (stretches as well as yoga) so you can create a healthier body.

6. Sleep

As most of us lead very busy lives and sleep is usually the first thing which is sacrificed in order that we can add more to our daily lives. Insufficient and poor quality sleep can cause an impaired immune system and result in a greater risk of fatigue, illness and stress. Adults generally require 6-8 hours of quality sleep per night. You judge which amount leaves you feeling refreshed and alert the next morning. Prioritize sleep by allowing yourself time to unwind at the end of the night in a way that is suitable for you.

7. Digestion

Digestive health is the foundation of healthy living. If you’re not able to maintain a good digestion, then your body cannot absorb the nutrients from your food. Healthy bowels can avoid ailments and make you feel and looking better. If you’re suffering from constipation, it could cause headaches and may also experience muscle or joint pain. The digestive system is in communication with other parts of your body and has an impact greatly on your overall health. If you think you’re getting a bit bloated, begin increasing fiber gradually in your diet. Eat 1.5-2 Liters of water per every day to help things move forward and begin looking at areas of your life that contribute to an unhappy colon. Stress, eating too much, being distracted or eating certain foods, and the lack of exercise could all be culprits.

8. Stress

Stress in general can be beneficial to us, as it pushes us to keep going forward and achieve the goals we set for ourselves in our lives. Continuous stress however, can cause anxiety, headaches as well as insomnia, if allowed to become a raging. Stress can manifest itself in a number of ways: snapping at your spouse, waking at 3am every day and feeling exhausted after eight hours of sleep, feeling unwell or feeling “blah”.

I’m not going recommend relaxing in a bubble bath or having massages to ease the stress since these are not long-term fixes. The solution lies with examining your habits and seeing what aspects of your life you are causing you to feel overwhelmed. Happiness in our lives is in direct proportion to the control we feel we have in our lives. If you’re stressing over feeling overweight, then take action! If a relationship leaves you drained and unhappy and depressed, you must make a big decision regarding your long-term health. Stress management is an ongoing method of managing your life to give you an increased sense of control.

9. Relationships

The increasing number of studies reveal that for humans to live a healthy and happy life, we need to build strong networks of support and connections. Having friends is good for our well-being! Take time every day for a connection with your kids, your partner and/or acquaintances. As woman we actually emit an endorphin (happy hormones) by having a good gossip.

10. Act and perseverance

Being armed with great strategies and tips is all well and good but if you don’t do what you learn and apply it consistently that’s no different that if you did not know about this when you first started!
